§455.23 Payment Suspensions

Under 42 CFR §455.23 a state Medicaid agency must suspend payments on a credible allegation of fraud (CAF) pending investigation, unless a good-cause exception applies. Each entry here becomes part of the CAF tracking log CMS will request during a State PI Review.
